Lee Waller earned his B.S. in Environmental Studies in 2006 from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Lee previously worked as an intern for Parks and Recreation's Land Stewardship division. Lee joined Conservation 20/20 as a Senior Program Specialist in September of 2006. As a Senior Program Specialist, he focused on field activities, including exotic plant and animal control, prescribed burns, property and vehicle maintenance, boundary sign installation and assisting the Land Stewardship staff and Lee County contractors with a wide range of restoration projects.
In October of 2008, Lee was hired as a Land Stewardship Coordinator for the Conservation 20/20 Land Program. He is now responsible for writing Land Stewardship Plans, performing quarterly site inspections, managing projects related to exotic plant control and habitat restoration, as well as conducting other types of stewardship activities. Lee is is trained in prescribed burns and is a Florida Division of Forestry certified pile burner. He has a Pesticide Applicator License in Natural Areas Weed Management and a Class A CDL. |
