Terry Cain

Terry is a life-long environmentalist with a record of achievement through non-profit, volunteer, and government employment. As Councilwoman and Vice Mayor of the Town of Fort Myers Beach, she moved forward land acquisition, Beach and Dune Management Plan, Estero Bay Harbor Plan, and a Live Shelling Ordnance. As a volunteer representing the Town of Fort Myers Beach, she donated time and ideas to the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program, Charlotte Harbor Comprehensive Conservation Management Plan "Committing to Our Future." She developed, created, and implemented the environmental educational beach and Matanzas Pass Preserve walk, "Treasure of the Sea."

This former "LBI Jersey Girl" is a graduate from the Richard Stockton College with a degree in Marine Science. She is a married, mother of two, and still loves to be on the beach or in a maritime hammock to work, play and view wildlife.
