The Conservation 20/20 land acquisition program is for willing sellers only. As such, landowners who are interested in offering their property for possible sale to the County must indicate that they are willing sellers by completing an application.
The application form must include signatures for ALL owners of record. For example, if a husband and wife own the property, both must sign the form. If the property is held in trust, all trustees (if more than one) must sign the form and provide documentation that they have the legal authority to convey the property.
An asking price is also required so that the County can evaluate if the landowner has realistic expectations about the value of the land. Answer the questions on the second page to the best of your ability.
To avoid delays, please attach the owner’s title policy and any of the other optional information that is available.
If you are unsure if your property has been previously reviewed in the Conservation 20/20 Program please contact Lynda Thompson. |
